How Often Idle Pilot Pings Slack to Keep You Active

Idle Pilot doesn’t spam Slack with constant pings.
Instead, it keeps a real Slack session open in a cloud browser. As long as that session is running, Slack naturally treats you as active.

If Slack tries to mark you away, Idle Pilot notices via Slack’s own signals and sends a small presence update to bring you back to “active.” In practice this means a few lightweight calls, not a noisy or abusive amount of traffic.
