How Idle Pilot Behaves When You’re Actually Online

If you’re actively using Slack yourself (on your laptop or phone), Slack already marks you as active.
During scheduled hours, Idle Pilot also has its own cloud session open. To Slack this looks like you having multiple devices connected at once, which is normal.

If you manually set yourself away or change your Slack status, Slack’s own rules still apply. Idle Pilot is focused on keeping your underlying presence “active” during scheduled windows, not overriding your custom emoji status or Do Not Disturb preferences.
